Commercial Lighting Technician, Foreman - Traveling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct traveling lighting teams on nationwide retail retrofit initiatives

• Act as the on-site foreman and main field representative

• Organize daily work schedules, crew allocations, and workflow

• Guarantee that projects are finished on schedule, within the defined scope, and meet company standards

• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the execution of projects

• Execute and supervise both interior and exterior commercial lighting retrofits

• Diagnose issues related to electrical and lighting systems

• Ensure adherence to NEC regulations and relevant local codes

• Uphold the safety policies and procedures of Reliable Electric and Lighting

• Lead job safety briefings and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Recognize and address job-site hazards

• Maintain professional communication with clients, store management, and project supervisors

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial lighting, with a focus on retail retrofits

• Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Technician is preferred

• Extensive knowledge of both interior and exterior lighting systems

• Demonstrated leadership and crew management abilities

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving history

• Capability to lift over 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate lifts and ladders

• Strong understanding of electrical systems

• Experience with national retail rollouts

• Familiarity with boom lifts, scissor lifts, and bucket trucks

• Experience with job reporting and time tracking
