Commercial Lighting Technician – Foreman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage traveling lighting teams on nationwide retail retrofit initiatives.

• Act as the on-site foreman and main point of contact in the field.

• Organize daily work schedules, crew tasks, and overall workflow.

• Ensure that projects are finished promptly, within the specified scope, and meet company standards.

• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle.

• Execute and supervise both interior and exterior commercial lighting retrofits.

• Read and interpret lighting plans, layouts, and specifications accurately.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and lighting system problems.

• Ensure adherence to NEC and relevant local regulations.

• Uphold Reliable Electric and Lighting's safety policies and procedures.

• Lead job safety briefings and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Identify and address job-site hazards effectively.

• Maintain professional communication with clients, store management, and project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in commercial lighting, with a focus on retail retrofits.

• Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Technician is preferred.

• Strong understanding of both interior and exterior lighting systems.

• Demonstrated leadership and crew management abilities.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to lift over 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate lifts and ladders.
