Commercial Insurance Claims Advisor – Remote First

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist and counsel clients promptly upon reporting a claim.

• Offer a compassionate ear and insurance knowledge to clients experiencing a loss.

• Proactively manage and keep claims files updated.

• Act as the primary point of contact and follow up on any pending issues or delays.

• Aid in the administration and maintenance of our claims document management system.

• Contribute to the development and evaluation of internal process flows, job aids, guides, and training materials.

• Advocate for clients throughout the claims process, elevating issues when necessary.

• Adopt a proactive stance toward challenges, working ahead to mitigate potential problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid provincial broker’s license; RIBO is preferred.

• Over 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.

• More than 2 years of direct claims experience.

• Ability to show empathy and sensitivity during challenging conversations.

• Capable of communicating with clients in a clear and straightforward manner.

• Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated adaptability when managing multiple clients simultaneously.

• CRM, CAIB, or CIP designations are considered valuable assets.
