Commercial General Liability Claims Representative – Bodily Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees a dynamic portfolio of fast-track property damage liability claims associated with business owner policies.

• Evaluates coverage matters under the Business Owners coverage form, garagekeepers, hired non-owned auto, auto services, and other standard industry forms.

• Investigates, analyzes, and assesses new loss notifications and claim submissions.

• Adjusts total auto losses as part of the liability claims adjustment process.

• Swiftly evaluates and positions claims under the relevant coverage.

• Works collaboratively to establish reserves at the appropriate level for claims.

• Exercises sound judgment in managing allocated loss adjustment expenses (ALAE) during claims investigations.

• Properly documents claim files in compliance with established protocols.

• Secures and maintains necessary adjuster licenses as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree is mandatory.

• Excellent analytical abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and the ability to convey information clearly and succinctly.

• Strong interpersonal capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and meet established deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and internet applications.

• Highly detail-oriented.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and make sound judgments in sensitive circumstances.

• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in general liability claims adjusting is preferred.

• Experience with bodily injury claims is preferred.

• CPCU or other professional designations are advantageous.

• Possession of state adjuster license(s) is a plus.
