This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for all tasks related to the cloud and disaster recovery and systems servers at 11:11 Systems.
• Deliver technical support with a strong focus on customer satisfaction by adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensuring process compliance.
• Manage provisioning, environmental oversight, alert monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for customer issues as well as for junior members of the 11:11 Systems team.
• Provide training and guidance to junior 11:11 Systems staff on daily operations and technical challenges.
• Assist in the creation, updating, and maintenance of existing documentation for 11:11 Systems server and compute infrastructure, in line with current standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and professional responses to escalated customer tickets from support, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams within the organization to help shape the future roadmap of server product offerings.
• Participate in supporting Disaster Recovery tests.
• Offer escalation assistance for Level 1-3 engineers.
• Adhere to best practices established by 11:11 Systems for server management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, aligning with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
• Responsibly manage the reception, transmission, and handling of company data and information according to Company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
• Review and comply with company policies and guidelines, including data privacy practices, annual compliance training, and policy acknowledgments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s or University degree in a technical discipline or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required.
• 3-5+ years of proven technical, hands-on experience with Open Systems servers is necessary.
• Relevant certifications as required or requested.
• Expert-level knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, along with operating system management, is required.
• Extensive experience in managing servers and server infrastructure is mandatory.
• Significant experience using server management tools such as iLo, vCenter, and HMC is required.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery concepts and solutions is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, shell scripting) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking is essential.
• Knowledge of routing and switching is an advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of storage connectivity and storage networking is required.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure services, including IaaS and DRaaS, is important.
• Experience in global data center environments is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, a positive attitude, and a desire for professional growth are essential.
• Strong leadership qualities, the ability to foster a collaborative team environment, and the capability to interact effectively with both front-line staff and management are required.
• Must be able to provide consultation and expert advice on systems-related topics.
