Cloud Support Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement and provide support for infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft Azure, VMware, and various networking technologies.

• Carry out migrations from on-premises platforms to cloud infrastructure.

• Handle enterprise support requests from clients utilizing Kraft Kennedy’s managed services.

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during evenings and weekends to support Kraft Kennedy’s enterprise managed services clients, as needed.

• Take part in the weekly on-call rotation for evening and weekend support, as requested by enterprise managed services clients.

• Timely escalate complex client issues to internal and, when necessary, external resources for resolution.

• Provide on-site assistance when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, particularly with Azure Networking components like firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, load balancing, private endpoints, traffic managers, and application gateways.

• Knowledge of networking technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, etc.).

• Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID.

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and later versions.

• Competence in PowerShell scripting.

• Background in a technology support organization.

• Experience with additional Microsoft 365 products (such as Intune, OneDrive for Business, etc.).

• Proficiency in VMware.

• Familiarity with Citrix technologies.

• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or other relevant technical certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in the IT field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and follow-up.

• Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
