Cloud Support Engineer – Night Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to identify issues and deliver suitable resolutions.

• Partner with customers' technical teams to address post-sales concerns, analyze intricate data, and assess Akamai's engagement with their infrastructure.

• Work alongside Engineering, Operations, Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management to investigate, mitigate, and resolve various issues.

• Provide support for significant and unique network events through careful planning and flawless execution.

• Formulate strategies and practices aimed at delivering exceptional and consistent service.

• Attain proficiency in products, services, or internet technologies to build expertise and offer valuable insights.

• Disseminate knowledge, enhance services based on feedback, and collaborate closely with support and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering technical solutions and support to enterprise B2B clients or managing large-scale distributed systems in B2B/B2C settings.

• In-depth knowledge of Internet technologies, including HTTP, DNS, and streaming.

• Proficient in network protocols such as TCP/IP and ICMP.

• Effective utilization of troubleshooting tools.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and devise long-term solutions.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills suitable for both business and technical audiences.

• Capacity to cultivate relationships, influence others, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, especially under tight deadlines.
