Cloud Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Address technical challenges across infrastructure, deployments, databases, caching, and web performance.

• Oversee support tickets through Zendesk, providing live chat or voice support as necessary.

• Enhance platform reliability by monitoring alert queues and participating in an on-call rotation during business hours.

• Work in conjunction with Product and Engineering teams to escalate bugs, report edge cases, and refine internal tools.

• Enhance documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing among global support teams.

• Diagnose issues related to DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, and large-scale web infrastructure.

• Recognize recurring issues and propose enhancements to systems, workflows, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Linux systems: You are proficient in the terminal and can navigate production environments with ease.

• Ability in coding or scripting: You have experience in at least one backend language (e.g., Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, Node.js).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: You have experience working with or supporting distributed systems, containerized environments, or cloud platforms.

• Understanding of networking basics: You know how the internet functions and can troubleshoot issues involving DNS, SSL, CDN, etc.

• Excellent written communication: You articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate efficiently in asynchronous global teams.

• Problem-solving approach: You are proactive, enjoy investigating issues, and seek ways to enhance our workflows.

• Customer-centric attitude: You prioritize delivering value to users and partners, approaching challenges with empathy and considering the end-user experience in your decisions.
