Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Ensure secure cloud infrastructure for the ClickHouse products and services across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to promote the safe and secure utilization of public cloud infrastructure and resources.

• Design and implement security systems (such as CSPM, infrastructure as code, and secrets management) to fortify ClickHouse's cloud infrastructure.

• Detect and address security issues, vulnerabilities, and incidents as they arise.

• Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities within ClickHouse assets.

• Create processes, tools, and automation to enhance security operations and reduce risks to the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience with various cloud service providers, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Proven experience in securing large-scale, customer-facing cloud infrastructures utilizing Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in standard cloud-based DevOps practices, such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secrets management.

• Development and automation skills are essential.

• A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field (bonus points).

• Previous contributions to open-source projects (bonus points).

• Relevant security or cloud-related certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) (bonus points).
