Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Implement and uphold cloud security measures in accordance with internal policies, security standards, and compliance obligations.

• Perform security risk evaluations, conduct vulnerability assessments, and assist with both internal and external audits and compliance documentation.

• Oversee cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access, while facilitating incident response and remedial actions.

• Administer IAM, encryption, firewall settings, and security best practices throughout cloud environments.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to strengthen the platform's security posture, maintain secure configurations, and guarantee operational resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security.

• Practical experience in securing at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proficient in IAM, roles, policies, and access governance.

• Knowledgeable in secure CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.

• Understanding of cloud-native and serverless security architectures.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or comparable security frameworks.

• Relevant cloud or security certifications, such as CCSP, CCSK, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications, are advantageous.
