Cloud Native Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• This position oversees the entire cloud native technical sales lifecycle for opportunities, covering discovery, architectural alignment, workshops, demonstrations, POC or POV execution, and technical closure. Responsibilities include defining success metrics, guiding validation processes, and securing the technical decision.

• The architectural focus is on Kubernetes-centric data platforms that operate across various environments, business units, and regions. Solutions are crafted in partnership with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure synchronization between technical design, operational realities, and business objectives.

• Acting as the main technical advisor, the CNA interacts with senior engineering leaders and executives through briefings, architecture workshops, and steering discussions. A close collaboration with account teams and co-sellers ensures that technical strategy aligns with commercial goals.

• Additionally, the role extends beyond individual opportunities by mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and engaging in thought leadership through customer forums, community events, and industry activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• The ideal candidate possesses senior-level experience in customer-facing technical roles within software or platform organizations, with substantial exposure to cloud native and Kubernetes-based architectures.

• The ability to operate comfortably at the high/enterprise level is crucial, along with the skill to translate intricate technical capabilities into clear business and financial benefits. Experience in managing long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities is anticipated.

• Strong architectural judgment, effective communication, and the capability to collaborate successfully across sales, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams are essential for success.
