Cloud Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify and request the necessary requirements from clients for the timely deployment of products.

• Deploy the elements that comprise the solutions/products of Whitestack.

• Conduct testing of components in virtualized environments.

• Perform validation tests and troubleshooting after deployment.

• Collaborate in GitOps workflows, focusing on automation and best engineering practices.

• Prepare and update documentation related to the project's infrastructure.

• Analyze and resolve any issues that may arise during the rollout of the components to be deployed.

• Channel client requests regarding product functionalities to the appropriate internal areas.

• Contribute to product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 2 years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering.

• Experience in deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting open-source cloud technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience in configuring networks in Linux (Interfaces/VLAN, IPTables, routing, bonding, etc.).

• Desirable experience working with or for telecommunications operators.

• Educational background in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Advanced knowledge of Ansible.

• Advanced knowledge of virtualization.

• Intermediate knowledge of Docker.

• Intermediate knowledge of networking.

• Intermediate knowledge of Linux.

• Intermediate knowledge of Terraform.

• Intermediate knowledge of Git.

• Intermediate level of English (for reading/writing technical documentation).
