Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Azure, Windows, Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Assist in the support and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure, which includes virtual machines, networking, backups, monitoring, and access-related services.

• Manage both Windows and Linux servers.

• Implement and configure cloud resources.

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

• Aid in monitoring, backup, patching, and lifecycle management activities.

• Engage in migration projects and initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure.

• Contribute to automation efforts using scripting and standard tools.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and runbooks.

• Facilitate incident, problem, and change management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure administration.

• Strong understanding of Windows Server administration.

• Basic to advanced skills in Linux administration.

• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and/or Bash.

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, routing, and connectivity.

• Familiarity with patching, backup, and operational support processes.

• Awareness of ITIL-based support methodologies.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Ansible is a plus.

• Basic understanding of AWS.

• Experience with SQL Server or alternative database platforms.

• Azure certification or relevant technical training is preferred.

• Background in hybrid cloud or enterprise infrastructure settings.
