This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for configuring and optimizing the Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway to guarantee a secure and efficient internet connection for IT workstations.

• Ensure reliable detection and blocking of threats such as malware, exploits, or phishing within internet traffic, while optimizing the relevant security policies.

• Tasked with safeguarding sensitive data through Data Loss Prevention strategies, as well as content and file controls to avert unintended data leaks.

• Guarantee the secure usage of applications by defining, maintaining, and continuously adjusting application control rules to meet current security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully obtained a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or completed vocational training.

• Strong understanding of malware techniques and prevalent attack patterns in the online environment.

• Excellent proficiency in working with SSL/TLS protocols.

• In-depth knowledge of PKI, certificates, and CA trust chains, along with identity and access integration.

• Skills in network analysis (e.g., basic knowledge of Wireshark).

• Fluent in German.
