Cloud Engineer, Cloud Admin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the setup and optimization of the Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway to guarantee a secure and efficient internet connection for IT workstations.

• Ensure reliable detection and blockage of threats such as malware, exploits, or phishing in internet traffic, while optimizing the associated security policies.

• Tasked with safeguarding sensitive data through Data Loss Prevention measures and content and file controls to avert unauthorized data exfiltration.

• Promote the secure use of applications by establishing, maintaining, and continually adjusting application control rules to meet evolving security requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field of study or have relevant vocational training.

• Strong understanding of malware techniques and prevalent attack patterns in the online environment.

• Excellent knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols.

• In-depth knowledge of PKI, certificates, CA trust chains, as well as identity and access integration.

• Proficient in network analysis skills (e.g., basic knowledge of Wireshark).

• Fluent in German (spoken).
