This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Engage in the design and execution of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Set up, configure, and manage cloud infrastructures utilizing IaaS and PaaS services.
• Collaborate in the enhancement and refinement of current architectures, considering scalability, security, and cost.
• Implement Azure security best practices, adhering to the standards and guidelines established by the team.
• Contribute to initiatives for cloud cost optimization (FinOps), pinpointing areas for improvement and applying recommended strategies.
• Work in close cooperation with developers, DevOps engineers, and other technical teams in a collaborative setting.
• Participate in troubleshooting, maintenance, and support operations within cloud environments.
• Over 4 years of practical experience working with Microsoft Azure in real-world projects.
• Proficiency in utilizing services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL and/or Cosmos DB.
• Comprehension of IaaS and PaaS models and the capability to determine the appropriate use of each.
• Basic understanding of security concepts in Azure, including RBAC, Managed Identity, and Azure Key Vault.
• Awareness of cloud cost management and the influence of technical choices on expenses.
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure Cost Management, budgets, or alerts is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and client-facing projects.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to advance towards more senior cloud positions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-based platforms in operational settings.
• Proficient in English.
• Very nice to have:
• Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS / GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Background in software development (Python, Go, .NET, or similar).
• Experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• A proactive mindset characterized by autonomy, technical leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
