Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and managing scalable AWS infrastructure.

• Creating and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines for improved application deployment.

• Monitoring and promptly addressing application and infrastructure challenges.

• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software integration and deployment.

• Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

• Promoting automation in infrastructure and application deployment processes.

• Guaranteeing the resilience and availability of production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or Software engineering.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Lambda, and more.

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CDK.

• Skill in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Golang.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Gitlab-CI, and FluxCD(v2).

• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.

• Knowledgeable in Service Mesh, specifically Istio.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, AlertManager, and Grafana.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
