Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee Netrix and the IT infrastructure of its clients, encompassing both on-premises/hosted and cloud environments.

• Administer, monitor, and resolve incidents for on-premises/hosted or cloud-based Windows/Linux server and hypervisor environments.

• Supervise, manage, and troubleshoot backup operations and restore requests across supported platforms, while assisting in disaster recovery procedures.

• Execute routine updates and upgrades on servers, storage systems, hypervisors, and backup environments.

• Offer guidance and act as an escalation point for the TOC/NOC, Service Desk, and Systems Teams for both Netrix and customer environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5-7 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure support and management of core technology stacks, including Windows Servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), as well as SAN and backup systems.

• Proficient hands-on experience with advanced skills in troubleshooting and managing server and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage (SAN).

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File and Print Role Services.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting backup-related issues and performing restore operations.

• Basic networking skills to identify and resolve server/virtualization network-related issues.
