Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in designing, constructing, and deploying redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-healing cloud infrastructures such as AWS.

• Engage in internal demonstrations, idea generation, and blog contributions to introduce new initiatives and tools for implementation with our clients.

• Capable of consulting multiple clients concurrently.

• Create strategic roadmaps and project implementation plans tailored to customer needs.

• Skilled in identifying AWS Cost Savings, Security Vulnerabilities, and AWS Best Practices across various AWS Services and compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and FedRAMP.

• Assist in pre-sales efforts by designing and scoping new customer engagements.

• Proficient in diagnosing complex issues for our clients and presenting solutions to senior leadership.

• Able to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Competent in conducting an AWS Well-Architected Framework Review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally, you possess 5 years of experience with the following technology stack or have been learning about these concepts:

• Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile methodologies.

• Practical experience with code merging, promotion, and the development and management of CI/CD workflows and tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying core DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Agile & Automation).

• Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

• Understanding of cloud-native security requirements.

• Proficient in all aspects of AWS, including AWS-CLI and AWS SDKs.

• Experience with Linux.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK).

• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS).

• Experience with configuration management tools (AWS Config, Ansible).

• Proficient in containerization (Docker or Docker-Compose).

• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS Code Suite).
