This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Assist in designing, constructing, and deploying redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-repairing cloud infrastructures like AWS.
• Leverage a range of automation tools (Terraform, Argo, Github Actions) in conjunction with cloud provider-specific tools (CloudFormation, EKS, ECS, SAM).
• Engage in internal demonstrations, idea generation, and blog posts to introduce new initiatives and tools to be applied with our clients.
• Provide consulting services to multiple clients at the same time.
• Create strategic roadmaps and project implementation strategies tailored to customer needs.
• Detect AWS Cost Savings, Security Vulnerabilities, and AWS Best Practices across a wide array of AWS Services and compliance standards.
• Assist in pre-sales efforts for designing and defining new customer projects.
• Identify and address intricate issues for clients and present solutions to senior management.
• Perform an AWS Well-Architected Framework Review.
• Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle and delivery utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Practical experience with code merging and promotion, as well as building and managing CI/CD workflows and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying fundamental DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Agile & Automation).
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Comprehension of cloud-native security requirements.
• Proficiency in all aspects of AWS, including AWS-CLI and AWS SDKs.
• Experience with Linux.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK).
• Experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (AWS Config, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization (Docker or Docker-Compose).
• Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS Code Suite).
