Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with architects and developers to establish and implement cloud strategies for a variety of projects.

• Assess and implement cloud deployment models including public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Develop scripts and automation solutions with languages such as Python, Golang, or Bash.

• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and services.

• Ensure adherence to security and governance standards across all environments.

• Assist in migrating applications to the cloud and modernizing legacy systems.

• Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for continual improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

• Experience in networking, storage, and cloud administration.

• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles along with hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in at least one scripting language: Python, Golang, or Bash.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
