Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Developing and sustaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to ensure dependable infrastructure delivery.

• Designing and overseeing Cloud infrastructure on Azure, guaranteeing a robust, scalable, and secure platform that facilitates seamless access to patient records and applications.

• Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible for consistent, repeatable, and automated deployments.

• Streamlining administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency and delivering innovative solutions.

• Enforcing security protocols that guarantee compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Producing clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and troubleshooting processes.

• Collaborating closely with IT, security, DevOps, and project managers to ensure infrastructure strategies align with organizational objectives.

• Fostering process improvements through a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to data governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in designing and managing cloud-based Windows Server environments with a strong focus on Azure.

• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.

• Skilled in automation tools such as GitHub, PowerShell, and Python.

• Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes will be highly regarded.

• Comprehensive understanding of the product management lifecycle and its influence on infrastructure.

• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation abilities – you excel in a collaborative team environment.

• A mindset characterized by intellectual curiosity, constantly seeking the most efficient and cost-effective methods for growth.

• An outcome-focused, results-driven mentality—you perceive challenges as opportunities and approach tasks with optimism.

• Familiarity with database technologies, including Redis and SQL Server, is an advantage.
