Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain Azure subscriptions across multiple tenants.

• Set up and monitor Azure networks: Vnets, peering, ExpressRoutes, gateways, and private endpoints.

• Handle identity and access management using Azure RBAC, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure policies.

• Support services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Search, Databricks, DNS, and backup/recovery tools.

• Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, Update Manager, and Site Recovery.

• Collaborate with teams on PowerBI/Fabric configuration and infrastructure enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or operations, primarily focusing on Azure.

• Strong experience with Azure networking, governance (Management Groups, Policies), and IAM (RBAC, Entra ID).

• Familiarity with Azure services such as Databricks, OpenAI, Azure Search, DNS, and backup/recovery tools.

• Previous experience with PowerBI or Microsoft Fabric configurations is a significant advantage.

• Secondary experience with AWS cloud environments is a plus.

• Practical knowledge of DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform is beneficial.

• A problem-solving mindset and a focus on cloud operations rather than a purely DevOps/deployment approach.
