Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Actively participate in the design, implementation, and operation of cloud solutions on AWS.

• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and automated environments through infrastructure as code.

• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Monitor, optimize, and ensure the availability of production environments.

• Implement controls and best practices for cloud security.

• Document architectures, operational procedures, and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• 2 to 4 years of experience working with AWS in production environments.

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, and CloudWatch.

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with Docker and knowledge of ECS and/or EKS.

• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python and/or Bash.

• Experience implementing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of networking, security, and best operational practices in cloud environments.

• Experience participating in migration, modernization, or cloud infrastructure implementation projects.

• Ability to analyze technical problems and propose efficient, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
