Cloud and Endpoint Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, identity and access management, security operations, backup and recovery, and advanced support.

• Implement, set up, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and identity integration.

• Oversee performance, availability, and security across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Assist in ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and restoration processes are effective.

• Contribute to infrastructure automation utilizing PowerShell, Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.

• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and tenant configuration.

• Oversee licensing, integrations, and security and compliance features such as Defender, DLP, and retention policies.

• Administer endpoint configuration, compliance, patch management, enrollment, and lifecycle processes using Microsoft Intune.

• Implement device security baselines, MDM/MAM policies, and standards for mobile and endpoint management.

• Supervise Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, identity governance, and Zero Trust security measures.

• Monitor and address security alerts, working alongside internal stakeholders to uphold security standards.

• Resolve escalated issues related to cloud, endpoints, and identity while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

• Partner with IT, security, DevOps, and application teams to enhance reliability and operational maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft cloud engineering, endpoint management, systems administration, or a similar role.

• Practical experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

• Familiarity with endpoint management, identity security, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.

• Understanding of cloud networking, backup and recovery, and security best practices.

• PowerShell or scripting experience is preferred.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
