This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee all facets of the development, coordination, and execution of Phase 1 clinical research studies.
• Work in partnership with the principal investigator and serve as a liaison among research subjects, client teams, investigators, and clinic operations teams.
• Monitor the progress of studies in accordance with project milestones, client deliverables, and budget constraints.
• Adhere to relevant regulations on a global and regional level.
• Supervise experienced support staff and/or entry-level individual contributors.
• Achieve operational results that moderately influence the immediate outcomes for the team.
• Review the scope of work, budget, and protocol details for the study.
• Ensure the clinical project team understands the contractual obligations and parameters.
• Report any risks to clinical trial management deliverables to the project manager.
• Offer solutions to challenges in protocol execution and site management.
• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a relevant field, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proven ability to lead and align teams toward the achievement of project milestones.
• Experience working in an international setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in site management and monitoring (clinical or central).
• Preferred background in risk-based monitoring.
• Understanding of clinical trial management financial principles and budget oversight.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Must show proficiency in computer skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with project teams and sites.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities.
• Proven capability to implement problem-solving techniques to address complex issues, employing a risk management approach to identify and mitigate potential threats to the successful execution of a clinical research project.
• Critical thinking skills to ascertain the cause and appropriate solutions for issue identification.
• Moderate travel may be required, approximately 20%.
