This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Become a part of our Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) team in the role of a Clinical Scientist.
• Lead Rater Training Excellence: Create and implement scientifically sound rater training programs to ensure uniform, high-quality endpoint assessments and minimize variability across various sites.
• Enhance Patient Eligibility Quality: Conduct thorough eligibility assessments, providing an additional layer of scientific oversight to validate appropriate patient selection and reduce protocol deviations and safety concerns.
• Provide Data-Driven Insights: Examine clinical and endpoint data to uncover trends, variability, and possible risks—transforming findings into actionable insights for improved study execution.
• Influence Protocol Strategy: Collaborate with sponsors and study teams to analyze protocols and offer expert advice on endpoint strategy, scale selection, and the feasibility of study designs.
• Serve as a Scientific Leader: Work cross-functionally with clinical operations, medical, and sponsor teams to proactively identify risks and devise solutions that safeguard study integrity.
• Doctorate-level degree pertinent to the therapeutic area (e.g., for CNS: Clinical Psychology PhD, PsyD, or Psychiatry MD).
• Moderate to extensive clinical experience with patients in relevant therapeutic fields.
• Proficient knowledge of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient-reported outcome measures, inferential biostatistics, and medical terminology.
• Background in clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a knack for informing, influencing, convincing, and persuading others.
• Strong presentation skills and experience in delivering presentations in professional contexts.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 20%).
