Clinical Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Review scales administered by raters in a clinical trial to guarantee that assessments are performed in a standardized manner, ensuring data reliability.

• Assess the quality of evaluations, engaging in live discussions with raters about assessment methodologies, scoring techniques, and providing guidance as needed.

• Analyze case data and adequately prepare for conversations with raters (e.g., ready to address pertinent issues and scale items, and have necessary documents on hand).

• Fulfill rater interactions and assigned duties as per the schedule.

• Ensure the timely submission of all documentation associated with assigned responsibilities.

• Engage in all required orientation, training, and calibration activities.

• Conduct functional assessments of rater performance (e.g., mock interviews) and assist in preparing and distributing communications.

• Reach out to clinical trial participants remotely (e.g., using the proprietary app, Engage) to administer assessments, and accurately document the resulting information (e.g., notes, scores).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatry, Nursing, or Social Work, or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 years of clinical experience working with populations affected by schizophrenia and major depressive disorder.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience administering psychiatric assessments, including the PANSS, to these populations is also essential.

• Experience in Clinical Trials is preferred.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
