This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Strategically plan, organize, and execute recruitment initiatives to achieve designated enrollment targets for study protocols.
• Enroll suitable participants in clinical research protocols.
• Conduct phone screenings with patients or caregivers in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
• Accurately document patient information in the computer database.
• Schedule and reschedule patient screening and prescreening appointments.
• Handle incoming calls from patients interested in participating in research studies.
• Assess potential subject eligibility through screening interviews, review of medical records, or discussions with site clinic personnel.
• Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of clinical research studies, including inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Update patient contact status and ensure database information is current.
• Review, contact, and refresh sponsor patient portals as necessary.
• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical setting, customer service, call center, or a related field is essential.
• Holding a medical license such as MA, CNA, LPN/LVN, EMT, or similar is highly preferred.
• Strong preference for experience in calendar management and scheduling.
• Preference for candidates with clinical trial management system experience.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including email, electronic health records, and basic software.
• Ability to type efficiently (40+ wpm).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic math skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workload and priorities.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient health information confidentially and professionally, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
