This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Assist in Omada’s research initiatives by managing daily study operations for designated protocols, which includes monitoring enrollment goals, participant engagement, and significant milestones.
• Reach out to study participants to ensure their timely, accurate, and complete involvement in the research.
• Address inquiries and requests from research participants, escalating any complicated or clinical concerns to the appropriate team member according to the protocol.
• Oversee the transfer of data between the company and partner institutions, adhering to data management and privacy guidelines.
• Keep precise study documentation and trackers (e.g., enrollment logs, contact records, data transfer documentation) to provide the team with an updated view of study progress.
• Track daily study advancements, proactively identify risks to timelines or data integrity, and suggest actionable solutions to maintain project alignment.
• Engage in regular study team meetings and status updates, delivering clear reports on your designated workstreams and dependencies.
• Academic background in clinical research methodologies and study design.
• Experience in human-subjects research (e.g., through previous roles as a coordinator, assistant, or during a practicum) and a solid understanding of fundamental research principles such as informed consent, protocols, and IRB requirements.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, including the capacity to prioritize multiple studies or deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in managing small projects or workstreams from initiation to completion (e.g., coordinating a study-related process, academic project, or operational workflow).
• Strong attention to detail and comfort in working with structured data, logs, and checklists.
• A friendly and professional communication style, capable of clearly explaining next steps to participants.
• A commitment to standardization and protocol compliance, along with a readiness to raise concerns when identifying gaps, risks, or deviations.
