This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary Clinical Research Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the engagement, directing all facets of the operational evaluation and change management approach.

• Perform comprehensive interviews with clinical research personnel and stakeholders throughout the clinical trial lifecycle to pinpoint operational deficiencies, bottlenecks, communication issues, and opportunities for enhancement within both Oncology and Non-Oncology programs.

• Collaborate with executive and operational stakeholders to evaluate the organization's readiness for change and propose sustainable transformation strategies.

• Work alongside the Vitalief team to develop effective interview templates, assessment methodologies, and frameworks for change management.

• Assess current workflows, governance structures, staffing models, and technology usage to identify prospects for operational alignment and standardization.

• Analyze Oncology and Non-Oncology operations to uncover transferable best practices and opportunities for cross-functional integration.

• Formulate prioritized, actionable recommendations that address immediate operational challenges while fostering long-term scalability and organizational adoption.

• Design and present a clear transformation roadmap focused on operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and efficient cross-system coordination.

• Provide regular updates on project status to executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery of engagement milestones.

• Deliver executive-level presentations that summarize findings, recommendations, change impacts, and measurable next steps.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of advancing clinical research operations experience, ideally within Academic Medical Centers and/or community hospital systems.

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Demonstrated experience in leading operational assessments, organizational transformation, and enterprise-level change management initiatives.

• Preferred experience in supporting Oncology and Non-Oncology clinical trial operations.

• Strong understanding of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and strategies for organizational adoption.

• Previous consulting experience delivering strategic solutions to healthcare or research clients is preferred.

• Exceptional executive-level communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational enhancements in complex, matrixed environments.

• Proficiency with research operations technologies, including CTMS, EMR integrations, workflow tools, and analytics platforms.

• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities, including risk assessment and mitigation planning.

• Proven track record of building C-suite relationships, leading cross-functional initiatives, and mentoring high-performing teams.

• Strategic, collaborative, and results-driven leader who excels in fast-paced environments.
