This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct all activities related to site monitoring visits, covering all types of study visits (PSV, SIV, IMV, and COV).
• Engage in the site selection process under the guidance of the Clinical Team Lead.
• Offer insights to aid sites in resolving identified deficiencies and necessary corrective actions, and follow up with sites until these issues are addressed.
• Assist in the creation and evaluation of protocols, study tools, and materials, as well as documentation for clinical trials.
• Mentor, train, and co-monitor junior members of the clinical team.
• Build and sustain effective working relationships with clinical sites and within Rho, ensuring clear communication of project goals and essential requirements.
• Attend and present at meetings and conferences, including Investigator Meetings.
• Take part in the RFP process, which includes participation in business development meetings.
• Engage in the Clinical Operations community at Rho by contributing to internal initiatives and the standard operating procedures related to the administration and monitoring of clinical trials.
• Execute both onsite and remote monitoring and study closure activities across various protocols.
• BA/BS degree, preferably in a life science, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field, along with approximately 2 years of on-site monitoring experience (CRA II) or 4-5 years+ (Senior CRA) within the CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries, demonstrating an understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology necessary for the comprehension and execution of clinical protocols.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and EDC systems.
