This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main liaison for investigative sites, providing essential information regarding clinical trials.
• Facilitate connections between stakeholders and investigative sites, enhancing AbbVie’s presence in the realm of clinical trials.
• Align, educate, and inspire site personnel and principal investigators regarding trial objectives, protocols, and patient care principles.
• Perform site evaluations, training, routine monitoring, and closure activities under supervision.
• Tailor site engagement strategies and monitor progress utilizing CRM tools.
• Utilize protocol, scientific, and clinical trial knowledge in the everyday execution of trials.
• Assess and support plans for patient recruitment and retention.
• Oversee site operations and evaluate risks concerning study performance and patient safety.
• Address site risk indicators and execute preventative and corrective action plans.
• Identify and propose potential investigators and sites.
• Guarantee data quality, prompt data submission, safety event reporting, and follow-up procedures.
• Ensure readiness for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Manage investigator compensation in accordance with executed contracts, when applicable.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience related to clinical settings, ideally in clinical research coordination or data management.
• Familiarity with therapeutic area indications is preferred.
• Capability to comprehend and implement scientific concepts within clinical trial execution.
• Knowledge of local regulatory and legal standards, ICH/GCP Guidelines, and relevant policies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology, tools, resources, and CRM systems.
• Critical thinking and judgment skills for resolving issues at clinical sites.
• Excellent written, verbal, active listening, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to build site relationships through engagement, motivation, and training.
• Commitment to integrity in line with AbbVie’s business conduct and leadership values.
• Self-driven approach focused on achieving timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
