This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Enhance AbbVie's pipeline by pursuing excellence in clinical research.
• Collaborate with investigators and site personnel for impactful and effective interactions.
• Concentrate on site clinical research to ensure the proper execution of trials.
• Promote improvements in data integrity, compliance, overall study performance, and the customer experience.
• Conduct site evaluations, training, and monitoring activities under guidance.
• Tailor site engagement strategies for assigned studies.
• Collect local/site insights and utilize site engagement tools effectively.
• Assess and ensure effective recruitment and retention strategies and plans.
• Responsible for ongoing risk assessments and monitoring activities carried out by clinical sites.
• Ensure that preventive and corrective action plans are implemented as necessary.
• Identify, assess, and recommend new or potential investigators/sites under supervision.
• Ensure the quality of data submitted from study sites and the timely submission of such data.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in health-related disciplines (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Clinical experience, ideally in clinical research coordination or data management.
• Familiarity with relevant therapeutic area indications is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and apply scientific concepts related to the execution of clinical trials.
• Knowledge of current and emerging local regulatory and legal standards, ICH/GCP Guidelines, and applicable policies.
• Capable of working collaboratively and cross-functionally to nurture and maintain professional relationships.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology, tools, and resources to provide customer-centric support.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, active listening, and presentation abilities.
• Act with integrity in alignment with AbbVie’s code of business conduct and leadership values.
