This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Deliver outstanding evidence-based psychotherapy to senior clients through telehealth (15 hours or more each week).
• Perform clinical assessments and intake evaluations utilizing geriatric assessment tools.
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans, consistently monitoring client progress and modifying strategies as necessary.
• Keep comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with company policies (with assistance from our AI-powered scribe).
• Assist clients in navigating life transitions (such as retirement, loss, and isolation) with a compassionate and age-sensitive approach.
• Engage in regular team meetings to uphold best practices.
• Guide clients through therapeutic life transitions, including retirement, loss of independence, or bereavement, employing a compassionate and age-appropriate methodology.
• Capability to support the Sailor Health team on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis (minimum of 15 hours a week).
• Degree in Clinical Psychology: either a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
• Previous experience with older adults is strongly preferred.
• Competent in using electronic health records (EHR) and delivering therapy via telehealth.
