This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Oversee the initiation of study activities by assessing study requirements and response evaluation criteria while collaborating with stakeholders to create relevant plans and documentation.
• Define and oversee project plans, which encompass timelines, milestones, staffing requirements, and project limitations.
• Establish schedules for project reporting and provide consistent updates to Business Development leadership, Global Services Managing Directors, and sponsor representatives.
• Relay timely and pertinent project information to internal teams, investigative sites, and sponsor contacts.
• Identify essential factors for project success and manage tracking, analysis, and reporting activities accordingly.
• Ascertain necessary resources and collaborate with departmental managers to facilitate successful project execution.
• Conduct financial management tasks, including monthly billing, forecasting, scope reviews, contract modifications, and management of pass-through costs.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts and revenue requirements to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and collaborate with Quality Assurance on documentation and clarification of deviations.
• Educate project teams on SOPs, protocol requirements, and project processes; convey protocol clarifications and amendments as necessary.
• Coordinate site-specific data collection efforts with both internal and external partners.
• Lead and nurture project teams through training, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and collaborating with departmental managers.
• Assist Business Development initiatives by engaging in capability presentations, investigator meetings, and professional conferences.
• Supervise project close-out processes, including the coordination of submissions and final deliverables.
• Execute supervisory duties, as needed, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and approval of time and attendance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience; degrees in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare discipline are highly preferred.
• Prior project management or leadership experience in the clinical development of investigational medications.
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical trials within a CRO or pharmaceutical research organization, ideally in a project management capacity.
• Familiarity with GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations.
• Experience with medical imaging is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Goal-oriented with a capacity to maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
