This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement triage logic and escalation pathways for urgent symptoms, abnormal results, medication issues, and other clinical red flags.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to convert clinical decision logic into effective workflows and system designs.
• Rigorously test pathways against edge cases and near-miss scenarios prior to launch.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of triage trees, escalation pathways, and any protocol modifications.
• Prepare summaries of updates and clinical findings for review and approval by leadership.
• Establish and conduct ongoing quality assurance for triage and escalation performance, which includes sampling, protocol compliance reviews, and outcome monitoring.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify gaps in processes or systems, and initiate corrective actions.
• Execute recurring quality assurance cycles and address findings accordingly.
• Advocate for clinical needs in product and engineering discussions related to triage, alerts, and clinical workflows.
• Convert clinical needs into actionable specifications and highlight constraints impacting clinical safety.
• Assist in quality assurance for new features and workflow changes prior to their launch.
• Provide daily operational support to clinical staff interacting with patients.
• Incorporate feedback from frontline staff into updates of protocols and documentation.
• Valid, unrestricted RN license.
• Proven experience in developing or significantly revising triage protocols, escalation pathways, or clinical decision-making logic.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product and/or engineering teams.
• Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to produce clear and versioned documentation.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes such as chart reviews, protocol adherence audits, or incident evaluations.
• Background in telehealth, virtual care, remote patient monitoring, or chronic disease management programs.
• Knowledge of value-based care or Medicare-related clinical operations.
• Experience with AI-enhanced clinical workflows or clinical decision support systems.
• Background in triage lines, telephone triage, or nurse advice lines.
• Must be a resident of the United States.
