• Create impactful Dandelion data models that accurately depict a patient's healthcare journey.
• Provide guidance on data utilization for significant clinical research initiatives that characterize disease progression, patient phenotyping, and care trajectories.
• Connect clinical practice with informatics expertise by overseeing the representation of clinical concepts, workflows, and outcomes within scalable data models used for generating regulatory-grade evidence.
• Employ data analysis tools to investigate clinical data within both Dandelion and health system environments.
• Execute queries on complex source systems across diverse health data sources (e.g., EMRs, ECG data, DICOM data) to identify and map data tables and their contents.
• Establish and govern clinical vocabularies, ontologies, and phenotypes to ensure that client datasets accurately represent real-world care delivery, clinical decision-making, and patient trajectories.
• Construct Dandelion data models by reconciling datasets from various healthcare systems and mapping data fields to standardized clinical ontologies.
• Offer counsel on the development of clinical research studies using Dandelion data models, including study design and protocol formulation.

• At least one year of experience in clinical research, particularly in retrospective studies, including the design of study objectives, eligibility criteria, and study endpoints, while ensuring adherence to scientific standards and clinical research best practices.
• A minimum of one year querying EHR data is essential (fluency in SQL is required; experience or familiarity with tools like dbt and Python is strongly preferred). Familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner systems is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of clinical terminologies, ontologies, and data standards, including LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, HCPCS, RxNorm, NDC, and OMOP (or equivalent common data models) is needed.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills, complemented by a collaborative mindset and a readiness to support cross-functional teams.
