Clinical Imaging Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of cardiac CT scans for patients considered for participation in global clinical studies.

• Analyze imaging data to assist in determining patient eligibility and screening outcomes.

• Evaluate anatomical features pertinent to TAVR procedural planning, including aortic annulus measurements, vascular access points, calcium distribution, coronary heights, valve morphology, and other structural heart factors.

• Employ advanced imaging software, such as 3Mensio or similar, to take measurements and produce screening reports.

• Detect and report imaging findings that could influence patient eligibility, procedural planning, or study involvement.

• Keep precise records of imaging evaluations, recommendations, and screening results.

• Collaborate with Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, Therapy Development, and Field Clinical teams across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific to ensure efficient patient screening and enrollment processes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary case review discussions, screening conferences, and meetings with physicians.

• Prepare and deliver presentations of patient imaging analyses during screening conferences and physician case planning sessions.

• Ensure protocol adherence and uniformity in imaging review practices across participating global clinical sites.

• Contribute to the creation, enhancement, and standardization of imaging review workflows and best practices.

• Act as a clinical imaging resource for investigators, physicians, study coordinators, and site staff regarding imaging criteria and screening procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and Field Clinical Specialists to facilitate discussions on patient-specific procedural planning.

• Communicate imaging findings clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist clinical sites in securing comprehensive, high-quality CT imaging submissions.

• Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with relevant global regulatory standards, ICH-GCP guidelines, company policies, and quality system requirements.

• Uphold patient confidentiality and data privacy in line with GDPR, applicable local privacy laws, and study protocols.

• Support audit preparedness, inspection readiness, and documentation compliance.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to imaging review, patient screening, and clinical operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in structural heart or cardiovascular imaging support.

• Proven experience in performing advanced TAVR CT analysis utilizing 3Mensio or equivalent imaging software.

• Background in reviewing cardiac CT imaging and assisting in TAVR patient evaluations and procedural planning.

• Strong knowledge of structural heart anatomy, cardiac CT imaging principles, and transcatheter valve therapies.

• Experience in supporting clinical research, medical device companies, or hospital-based structural heart programs.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with globally distributed teams.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Professional fluency in German is highly preferred; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to approximately 10% of the time.
