This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Responsible for overseeing clinical services.
• Collaborates with a Territory Manager to market and sell Tandem Diabetes products within a designated territory.
• Identifies prospective customers and cultivates business relationships.
• Delivers clinical and sales assistance, as well as product education directly to trainers, physicians, and their teams.
• Offers Tandem product training and support to patients.
• Advocates for Tandem’s distinctive market position.
• Ensures all product training, documentation, and communication with healthcare professionals are completed promptly.
• Establishes and nurtures strong professional relationships with healthcare providers.
• Responsible for both initial and ongoing recertification of contracted and non-contracted Tandem Pump Trainers.
• Works alongside technical support specialists to resolve post-sale product issues.
• RN (BSN preferred), RD or RPh, or a comparable blend of education and relevant job experience.
• Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Board Certified, Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) certified or eligible).
• Two years of experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology (experience with video remote education is preferred).
• Ability to effectively engage with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Proven capability to communicate effectively as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems to patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficient in presenting educational content clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic market and view change as an opportunity to enhance business performance and advocate for it when needed.
• One year of relevant experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within your assigned territory; must hold a valid driver’s license and required auto insurance, along with a good driving record according to company policy.
