This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a preceptor and mentor for new oncology nurses while offering continuous support for clinical inquiries, therapies, and care delivery systems.
• Conduct remote verification of chemotherapy orders and charts, and assist with nursing assessments.
• Evaluate, triage, and handle clinical calls for the Cancer access line.
• Facilitate coordination among onsite nurses, non-clinical coordinators, and oncologists.
• Submit and monitor prior authorizations for chemotherapy, supportive care medications, and diagnostic tests.
• Support the oncologist with medication, diagnostic, and outbound referral orders.
• Manage molecular testing orders, prescription refill requests, and various clinical inquiries.
• Collaborate with onsite pharmacists for efficient inventory management.
• Contribute to clinical education initiatives.
• Assist patients with referrals to community resources, financial aid, and insurance-related services.
• Identify and propose opportunities for clinical process and quality enhancements.
• Oversee clinical integrations during the launch of new sites.
• Occasionally fulfill the role of an onsite nurse during clinic and infusion days.
• Valid multistate RN license.
• 3–5+ years of experience in outpatient oncology.
• Current ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Card; can be renewed upon hire if expired.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficient in touch-typing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Fluency in EMR systems and adaptability to various EMR platforms.
• Maintain patient and partner confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding PHI.
• Willingness to travel 30% as needed.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A sense of urgency and a commitment to completing tasks with quality.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• OCN certification preferred.
