Clinical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Conduct clinical data analysis and manage cases independently to facilitate precise interpretation of genetic results, including reanalysis efforts.

• Develop phenotype-genotype correlations for a diverse array of genetic disorders utilizing internal resources and specialized tools.

• Examine and interpret intricate clinical characteristics of genetic conditions; document evidence and reasoning for variant classification in a clear and standardized manner.

• Achieve or surpass productivity and accuracy benchmarks set by the team leader.

• Execute clinical analysis at a moderate case throughput.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to further team objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline, or an MD/DO with over 2 years of pertinent experience in clinical diagnostics (including fellowship training).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven computer proficiency, including the capability to maintain a high level of competence with internal systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Office 365 environment.

• A minimum of one year of independent experience in clinical analysis.

• ABMGG or CCMG certification is mandatory.
