This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Evaluate AI-generated content related to meditation, wellbeing, mental health, sleep, anxiety, stress, and behavior modification.
• Assign scores and categorize AI outputs utilizing structured evaluation frameworks and rubrics.
• Determine the clarity, safety, evidence-based nature, clinical appropriateness, and practicality of outputs for users in real-world scenarios.
• Verify claims against existing evidence, including academic literature, clinical guidelines, and internal research standards.
• Identify any recommendations that are unsafe, exaggerated, unsupported, vague, misleading, or inadequately explained.
• Highlight potential concerns regarding indications, contraindications, evidence quality, risks, and practical applicability.
• Compare AI outputs across various prompts, workflows, models, or evaluation contexts.
• Assist in preparing concise research summaries, evidence notes, and internal review documentation.
• Support prompt testing and AI evaluation processes, including documenting successful strategies, failures, and reasoning.
• Utilize tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI systems to aid in research, synthesis, review, and daily tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to the Head of AI, Clinical AI Research Lead, product team, and engineers.
• Contribute to enhancing the quality, safety, and effectiveness of AI-driven wellbeing experiences over time.
• Assist with internal research and publication-related activities as needed, under supervision.
• You possess formal training or initial experience in a pertinent field such as psychology, clinical psychology, psychiatry, public health, behavioral science, mental health research, digital health, meditation research, mindfulness, or wellbeing science.
• You may be a graduate student, master's student, PhD student, clinician-in-training, junior researcher, research assistant, or an early-career health professional.
• You have a solid understanding of how to assess evidence, including study quality, strength of findings, limitations, and real-world applicability.
• You are adept at verifying claims against research and identifying unsupported, exaggerated, unclear, or potentially unsafe information.
• You can thoughtfully consider indications, contraindications, risks, and the limitations of general wellbeing or mental health recommendations.
• You are detail-oriented and comfortable conducting thorough review work across numerous examples or outputs.
• You can utilize structured rubrics and maintain consistent judgment across repeated evaluation tasks.
• You communicate clearly and can articulate your reasoning in straightforward language.
• You are proficient in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for research, synthesis, review, and routine tasks.
• You are interested in the responsible application of AI in meditation, wellbeing, mental health, and consumer health products.
• You are comfortable working under supervision and are willing to escalate uncertain or higher-risk issues to senior reviewers.
• You are organized, thoughtful, and capable of providing structure to ambiguous questions.
• You are passionate about developing products that assist individuals in leading healthier, calmer, and more meaningful lives.
