This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.
• Provide daily client support on behalf of the Health Care Management department.
• Assist members and clients on a daily basis while strategically collaborating with all Healthcare Management and non-Healthcare Management team members.
• Ensure that clients' needs are effectively met.
• Work together to guarantee that workflows and processes for Utilization Review and Case Management align with client requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including sales, clinical teams, client management, claims, managed care, and more.
• Deliver solutions and results that address business needs and promote growth.
• Associate Degree.
• Active State Registered Nursing License.
• At least five years of experience in direct clinical care.
• Minimum of three years of experience in medical management, including case management or utilization management.
• A minimum of one year in healthcare consulting (client-facing role or experience in delivering results to clients).
• Knowledge of the Health Care industry and Managed Care Delivery systems, encompassing current standards of medical practice, insurance benefit structures, related legal/medical issues, utilization management, case management, and quality management processes.
• Ability to actively manage and meet client expectations regarding projects, timelines, deliverables, outcomes, and more.
• Experience working with various levels within a client organization.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate problems, develop alternative solutions, and identify trends and patterns.
• Strong prioritization skills when faced with tight deadlines and multiple, complex projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to adapt, quickly learn new skills, and champion change.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, flexibility, and openness to acquiring new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Possess critical thinking skills that enable executing instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Proven ability to think, work, and prioritize independently.
