This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assist Complex Large Accounts as a Secondary CM: Collaborate with Account Executives on extensive, multi-faceted employer groups (750–3,000 lives). Engage in strategy formulation, reporting, renewal preparation, vendor coordination, and client deliverables while gaining insights into advanced consulting methodologies in real-time.
• Manage a Book of Business Independently: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of smaller large-group clients (100–200 lives). Oversee plan-year servicing, address client inquiries, liaise with carriers and vendors, and foster robust, trust-based relationships.
• Perform Core Benefits Analyst Responsibilities: Manage the tactical and analytical aspects of client servicing, including:
• - Analyzing financials for renewals
• - Supporting carrier marketing and quoting
• - Conducting reporting and data analysis
• - Maintaining and configuring ben-admin systems
• - Providing eligibility and billing assistance
• - Coordinating vendors and managing daily servicing tasks
• Lead Renewal & Open Enrollment Preparation: Create renewal and open enrollment presentations, develop employee education materials, assist in budget modeling, and ensure adherence to timelines across all stakeholders.
• Develop and Present Client Deliverables: Create presentations, reports, and financial summaries, confidently presenting to HR teams and client leadership for straightforward groups while supporting senior teammates on more complex presentations.
• Enhance Client Experience: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal operations, member support, and external vendor partners to ensure smooth execution and an elevated client experience throughout the year.
• A minimum of 5+ years of recent employee benefits experience in brokerage or consulting, supporting multiple employer clients simultaneously.
• An active Health Insurance License is required.
• Proven hands-on experience assisting employer groups through renewals, carrier marketing, and open enrollment cycles within a brokerage setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in executing Benefits Analyst / Account Management responsibilities, including financial analysis, quoting, reporting, and carrier negotiations.
• Direct experience working within or alongside benefits administration systems in a client-servicing role.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint / Google Slides, with the capability to independently create financial analyses and client-ready presentations.
• Confident written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to lead client calls and present renewal materials for straightforward groups.
• Experience managing multiple client timelines, deliverables, and relationships with carriers/vendors simultaneously.
