Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and managing claims through well-structured action plans to achieve an appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Negotiating claim settlements within the assigned authority limits.

• Keeping the claimant and client informed about claim activities and processing updates.

• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and professionally addressing requests for guidance in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Texas License is required.
