Claims Examiner, Workers Compensation I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and processing claims through well-structured action plans to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating the negotiation of claims settlements within authorized limits.

• Maintaining communication regarding claim progress and processing with both the claimant and the client.

• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and addressing requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Possession of a New York License is required.
