Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and managing claims through well-structured action plans to achieve a suitable and prompt resolution by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating negotiations for claim settlements within assigned authority limits.

• Maintaining communication regarding claim activities and processing with both the claimant and the client.

• Submitting claims to the excess carrier and promptly addressing requests for direction in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a relevant combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A Nevada License is required.
