Claims Examiner I, Workers Compensation, NE Jurisdiction Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyzing and handling claims through well-structured action plans to achieve an appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Negotiating claim settlements within the established authority limits.

• Communicating claim activities and processes with both the claimant and the client.

• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and promptly addressing requests for direction in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction in NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, DC, DE, WV, and VA.
