Claims Associate – Roofing, Property Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Receive and assign new inspection tasks.

• Assist with the intake of claims and input assignments into the dispatch system.

• Organize inspections with policyholders.

• Collaborate with field inspectors, vendors, and internal teams.

• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain claim notes.

• Communicate effectively with adjusters, inspectors, and other stakeholders to address issues that may cause delays in claim dispatch or completion.

• Guarantee that claims are processed accurately and efficiently while achieving service level expectations.

• Deliver professional and empathetic customer service to policyholders and business partners.

• Manage approximately 10–15 claims per hour during CAT events.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in fields such as insurance, roofing, construction, estimating, claims, dispatching, or a role involving customer service.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

• Proficient in using various software systems concurrently.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with property insurance claim workflows.

• Basic understanding of residential roofing and construction terms.

• Ability to interpret repair estimates.

• Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills.

• Customer-centric with a professional and empathetic communication style.

• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic CAT environment.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Access to a Windows (Microsoft) laptop or desktop computer.

• Availability for flexible schedules during CAT events, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
